Rose of Pain
In the garden of tears and despair
Grows bloody Rose of pain;
And dark clouds hang in the air
Like prediction of the black rain…
Fallen Angel lost holy skies
Just to be forever with me,
And he gladly have sacrificed
All his heart’s serenity.
Fallen Angel clamed me for him,
But I told him: “Bring Rose for me”;
And he promised me flower of sin
And all that we can call glee…
Fallen Angel searched that Rose
For my immortal soul,
In this repose the Devil chose
To take It for him very own;
And I came to the Devil’s hall
To return the Rose of pain,
And I’ve sold for Rose my soul…
And Fallen Angel did the same.
I keep Rose of pain on my knees
And my Fallen Angel is near;
And I gave him the highest bliss
With the taste of torture and fear.
But we have no heart and no soul,
And the Devil is our Lord;
And with my Fallen Angel I fall –
We are living in fever of cold…
